By day, Chris is the Senior Director of Product & Client Experience at Yaro, a consumer-centered start-up living and building at the intersection of FinTech and HealthTech. He is focused on developing and launching new integrated products and technology to put millions of Americans at the center of their healthcare, enabling them to make smart choices as they use their health plans, and shop and pay for healthcare. Prior to Yaro, Chris was a Technology Consultant at Accenture where he specialized in large-scale systems implementation and conversion projects within the Financial Services industry, including roles in management consulting, project management, business analysis, and process design.
Outside of Yaro, Chris is passionate about writing, athletics, investing and entrepreneurship. He regularly writes for the Fleet Feet Sports Blog and makes it a priority to continually further his education and growth. He has experience founding online businesses and continues to pursue additional entrepreneurial ventures.
Aside from his professional life, Chris's number one hobby is running. He represents the Fleet Feet Nike Racing Team in races ranging from one mile to the marathon. He is the current American Record holder in the beer mile (4:46.67), winner of the Beer Mile World Classic title in 2017, and is training with the goal of qualifying for the 2020 Olympic Trials Marathon. Not only does running allow him to channel his strong competitive nature, it also is his form of meditation and stress relief. His best ideas often come while out on the trails or track.
Chris moved to Chicago in 2015 after graduating from Iowa State University with an MBA and B.S. in Industrial Engineering to pursue his career with Accenture. Before Iowa State, Chris spent his childhood growing up in Iowa City, Iowa.
